The Algeria Business Council was launched in 2005 with the full blessing of H.E. The President of the Republic of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika with the purpose to develop trade relations between the two countries. In the UK the ABBC works closely with the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy Lord Risby and in turn with the British Ambassador to Algiers, Andrew Noble. The ABBC today has a fully functioning office in both London and Algiers dedicating itself to support British businesses into Algeria, and in turn facilitate Algerian businesses enter the UK market. The Chairman, Lady Olga Maitland, with the support of the ABBC Board which includes leading businessmen from both countries, has developed high level working relationships with both governments. ABBC Algeria is a subsidiary of the ABBC UK with country manager and ceo Maya Boumedine. She is in a strong position to develop the work of the ABBC and respond to the many demands made upon us. We are proud to partner with NAPEC for the trade fair, bringing our own expertise from all sectors including hydrocarbons. We arrange trade visits to both countries, the last major one to the UK being with the Forum des Chefs d’Enterprise lead by its President,Mr Ali Haddad, when they visited the City of London in January, 2017. In turn we give individual support to UK companies who need our counsel and active administrative help as they enter the Algerian market.

Cedigaz is an international association dedicated to natural gas information, created in 1961 by a group of international gas companies and IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN). It is based near Paris. Cedigaz has members all over the world. Cedigaz' goals consist in gathering, compiling and analysing worldwide economical information on natural gas, LNG and unconventional gas in an exhaustive and critical way. The information that Cedigaz deals with touches on all activities and aspects of the gas industry (exploration, reserves, production and processing, transportation, trade, storage, distribution and consumption of natural gas).
